A Warrior is Born (1657)

His tiny hands curled into fists as if ready to take on the world. The boy was destined for greatness, and Shivaji knew it. He gently touched his son’s forehead and whispered, You are born under the protection of Goddess Bhavani. May you grow into a warrior who defends this land and its people.
